The last couple of days were mostly work days. Prepping the boat and provisioning. The grocery store was really well stocked, and other than not finding any pork products, we were able to get everything we wanted. In the local market we had beautiful produce and vegetables to choose from and jumped from stall to stall finding the freshest items while also spreading around our money.
It can’t be all work and no play, so on our final day Roxy and I took in a 90 minute massage. I had noticed a place in a mall that looked good and before lunch we were led into rooms where they put us through a meat grinder of a massage. This was not your relaxing massage, but rather a workout, I left feeling like I had been lifting weights. I think my masseuse was from Thailand and it was performed on a mat on the floor, which meant she could use all of her weight to pummel my muscles. Ouch. Roxy absolutely loved it and felt loosen up afterwards. Me, well I would ask for a relaxing massage if I did it again.
One final stop at the local market for a few more items and we were stocked for the next two or three weeks. But not before taking on a long, warm shower at the marina. That was nice to soothe my muscles and rinse off the oil from my massage.
