N241VP Van’s RV-10
Planning began in the spring of 2019 with kit ordering March of 2020. While waiting for my kit delivery I started the project by designing the panel and electrical system before beginning the airframe in September. I built in Colorado Springs at KFLY and the first flight was February 27th, 2021. Excluding heading home for the holidays, I worked 11-12 hours a day, seven days a week (127 working days over a 145-day period which excludes about 400 hours of labor on the panel before I started the tail section and the time I spent inventorying all of the parts).
