Admittedly I have a habit of making things a bigger challenge than necessary. This carried over into flying four of my employees and their spouses down to visit the boat. Rather than give myself a few days in between guests I booked them back to back and even overlapping. So February was a bit of a blur.
It was interesting how each week was so different from the previous, even with three of the four trips including a visit to Yelapa. It was great to spend time outside of work and to let off a little steam. And hanging out on the beach never sucks. Happily everyone had a great time.
Igor and Mary checked out the underwater world by snorkeling Los Arcos, just before the tourists swarmed in.
Igor and I play soccer with a guy from PV so we took his restaurant recommendation. Jose did not let us down, El Barracuda was great.
Pulpo is my favorite and this grilled version at El Barracuda was all I could hope for.
Warming up for the big game against the kids from Canada.
Watching the sunset at El Barracuda while the fire dancers put on a show.
The Tuesday market in Paradise Village was a great chance to replenish the fresh vegetable supply.
After dinner at El Toro drinks on Strikhedonia were in order to cap off the evening.
Our friends Aurora and Agustin invited us to dinner at a El Toro where the chicharron de pescado is famous. It was a wonderful meal with awesome company.
A quiet afternoon on a mooring ball in Yelapa for Jeff, Jenifer, Jean, and me.
Jean and I enjoyed some private time together at the "small" waterfall.
This momma and baby surprised us by popping up so close to Strikhedonia
This huge platter of food was too much for Jeff and Jenifer so Dennis and I helped polish it off.
With a shared day together Dennis, Jeff, Jenifer, and Barb enjoy some beach time.
Barb and Dennis checking out the "big" waterfall in Yelapa.
Impressive colors and clouds to finish a beautiful day.
After ditching some Canadians on the walk back from the "small" waterfall he planted himself beneath my chair for a few hours to recover.
Dennis and I braved the hike to the waterfall finding a mass of people beat us there.
Teenagers have an unbelievable appetite.
A common theme this month was enjoying the beach palapas.
A playful baby was putting on a jumping show while his mom just waved to us.
Lee and Sarah braved the mighty river crossing at Yelapa.
Shortly after this picture Sarah learned about "sneaker" waves.
Josh kept a safe watch for his dad to ensure we didn't get surprised by any boats leaving the harbor.
Lee piloting us into the marina after our trip to Yelapa.
A lovely sunset in Puerto Vallarta
