Yep, I said it. I finished up the back half of the plane wiring in the morning and then organized/zip tied/secured the cables. Then the fun began on the panel wiring. I already built the harness but with moving it from Minnesota, to setting it up and taking it down a couple times in the hanger (to finish the remaining connectors) the result was some jumbled up wires. About three hours today just grouping and unjumbling. Fun times. Then adding a few power wires and beginning the process of zip tying the bundles. One fun note, I was mixed up on which radios use the GPS antennas – well evidently one is the G5 and the cable is about 18 inches too short. So I’ll be tearing up part of today’s work to run a new cable. Ugh.
