Having flown over Rabbitr Ears a number of times it was time to do it from the ground. The drive from Steamboat takes you to a parking lot at the trailhead to lead you up the mountain. The trail is actually a jeep trail and we did come across a couple driving down as we hiked up. It is a straightforward hike with some nice views and some very steep sections towards the top. Overall an easy hike but the steeps will get you breathing a little harder.
