It was a marathon that brought these two together, then along came a move to San Francisco, a move back to Minnesota, raising a family in the frozen tundra, and a taste of the sailing life on Lake Superior – the seed was planted. Fast forward a few years and along came the idea that sailing would be perfect way to blend adventure, travel, and experience other cultures.  Next came the idea of building an experimental Van’s RV-10 to visit family, friends, and explore a bit faster than via a sailboat.
