The stock water heater is in the port engine compartment.

Source for generating hot water: Either running the port engine or through AC electrical power Stock heating element: 3000W @ 120VAC
Replaced heating element: 3000W @ 240VAC (this allows for running off of the inverter with only a 1500W power draw
Tool needed to remove heating element: 55mm 6-point socket
