Seawind ships boats with 8mm Grade L chain with a length of 165 feet. Strikhedonia was upgraded to 300 feet and switch to the more commonly available 5/16" G4 chain - this is a slightly different size but has worked for a number of years with the 8mm gypsy on the windlass
