We have been watching the weather forecast and it was looking like we would leave in two or three days so that made today a big prep day to get the boat ready for a blue water passage. We didn’t kill ourselves but we did spend most of the day working. I also finished up the bottom cleaning, and was very disappointed to see new growth where I had cleaned yesterday. The bay we are in doesn’t flush all that well and it makes it easy to get build up quickly.
The big excitement of the day was Roxy finding two squid chilling and eating off of our anchor bridle and chain. Surprisingly, after there arrival in the morning and my chasing them away when I was cleaning the bottom they came back for an afternoon feast. All in all a satisfying day.
