I give a detailed route description on this page if you are interested.

Starting off the tour bottle of whiskey

Our "modern" cabin at the Ten Sleep RV part - two thumbs up

Enjoying the morning light on the colorful hills

Rain the days prior to starting the tour brought some greasy spots to negotiate

Nowood "International" airport, I had trouble finding the FAA identifier

Lucky for us the light was not flashing...

We had lots of barren land to cross before coming to these hills

Cool erosion in the Wind river valley

Starting our climb up to the switch backs up to Fossil Hill

At the top of Fossil Hill

More lush forest on the east side near Cony mountain

The original mine that brought people to South Pass, sadly tours were done for the year

A stop at the small town of South Pass

South Pass city ghost town was worth the stop

One other BDR group and a guy hiking the CDT joined us for the night

Our cabin at Miner's delight, built in 1930 for the miners, go figure. Thank God for the heated blankets it got cold (35 degrees)

Up the hill to view the Atlantic City valley

We had dinner at the Mercantile and a few beverages to loosen us up for tomorrow

240 miles and not much of it was paved, love it!
