Sadly, it was time to move south and say goodbye to Moon Drifter. Another easy passage brought us into a crowded anchorage but a warm welcome from our friends Carl and Roxy in their 1160 Sky Pond.
We quickly fell into the rhythm of life in Tenacatita; beach walks, bocce ball, drinks at the palapa. Oh and a new thing, a Mezcal distiller near the Aquarium was offering shuttle to visit them. On the morning net I put out the call and a group of us headed over the next day after I arranged a pick up. It was a great tour, that while in Spanish, he chose easy words making it somewhat possible for me to translate. After our tasting we sat down to enjoy a great lunch before the dinghy ride back to the boats. Thankfully there were no casualties crossing the bar back into the bay from the estuary.
