Calculations were made, questions were asked, and the result was we needed water and the best place was from a drinking fountain just outside the ferry terminal. So early in the morning, with jerry cans in hand Carl and I headed to shore to start the process. It actually went smoothly and we received our arm work out carrying the full cans between the fountain and the dinghy (200 meters), lugging them up onto Sky Pond, and pouring them into the tank. We made three trips adding 180 liters of water in just over an hour.
Later in the day, we headed to shore for some more exercise. Carl and Roxy hiked out to the “yacht club” while I wandered around the village. I’ll let the pictures do the talking but summarized that I ended the 8 mile hike loaded down with our final provisions of the trip.
The night was finished off with butter chicken packed with lots of fresh veggies and samosas.
